Roslyn Landmark Society promoted Jenifer Lister to Director at their August Board of Trustees meeting. She has previously served as the organization’s Administrative Associate since 2014.
As part of her new and ongoing responsibilities, Ms. Lister will manage the organization’s day-to-day activities including membership drives, fundraising and community outreach. Her duties also include researching and writing grant applications, financial reporting and creating compelling marketing campaigns and sponsorship opportunities.
Roslyn Landmark Society president, Howard Kroplick said “Jennifer has done an outstanding job in helping grow our organization. She also plays an integral role in the Roslyn Grist Mill Project acting as liaison with architects, construction company, as well as state and local politicians. Jennifer’s efforts have resulted in securing over $2.2 million in grants, awards and donations.” “It’s an honor to be named Director of Roslyn Landmark Society at this significant time in the organization’s history,” Lister said. “Membership is up over 200% over the last year and we’ve developed a robust sponsorship program. I look forward to continuing work on the Roslyn Grist Mill Project and thank the Board of Trustees for giving me this great opportunity”. Ms. Lister is a resident of Huntington and has been in the development field for over ten years. Previously, Jennifer has worked in the development office for the Church of Saint Dominic in Oyster Bay and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Foundation in Kings Point.
